​VISA EXEMPTION FOR SHORT VISIT

 

Citizens of 169 countries are exempted from visa requirement for short visit to Indonesia, based on the Presidential Decree 21 of 2016. Terms and conditions are as follows:

  1. Duration of the visit is limited to 30 (thirty) days, can not be extended nor converted to any type of visa.
  2. The visa exemption is limited to following purposes: tourism, family visit, socio-cultural visit, official visit, attending or becoming speaker at a seminar, attending an exhibition, attending a meeting, and transit.
  3. The visa exemption is not valid for journalism or film-making activities. Such activities require journalist visa.
  4. Traveller's passport should be valid for at least 180 days beyond the expected arrival date of the trip to Indonesia, with at least 2 blank pages,
