President Jokowi Inaugurated 17 New Indonesian Ambassadors

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has inaugurated and took the swearing-in of 17 new ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia (LBBP). The inauguration took place at The State Palace, on Monday, March 13rd 2017.

Based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 32P of 2017 and No.35P of 2017. March 10, 2017 on the appointment of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) of the Republic of Indonesia, the new ambassadors who have been inaugurated are:

 

  1.       Drs. Hasan Kleib, MA, as the RI Ambassador to the Permanent Representative in Geneva, Switzerland;

  2.       Drs. Priyo Iswanto, MA, as the RI Ambassador to Colombia at the Embassy of the  Republic of Indonesian in Bogota;

  3.      Major General (Retiree) Dr. Ir. Arief Rachman, MM, MBA, as the RI Ambassador to Afghanistan at the Embassy of the                 Republic of Indonesia in Kabul;

4.       Drs. Rahmat Pramono, MA, as the RI Ambassador to Kazakhstan at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Astana;

  5.       Prof. Dr. Ikrar Nusa Bhakti, as the RI Ambassador to Tunisia at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Tunis;

  6.       Drs. Nur Syahrir Rahardjo, as the RI Ambassador to Bahrain at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manama;

  7.       Tantowi Yahya as the RI Ambassador to New Zealand at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Wellington;

  8.       Drs. Darmansjah Djumala, MA, as the RI Ambassador to Austria at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Vienna;

  9.       Drs. Sahat Sitorus, as the RI Ambassador to East-Timor at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Dili;

  10.     Drs. Yohanes Kristiarto Soeryo Legowo, as the RI Ambassador to Australia at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in               Canberra;

  11.     Drs. Umar Hadi, MA, as the RI’s Ambassador to South Korea at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Seoul;

12.     Drs. I Gusti Ngurah Ardiyasa, as the RI Ambassador to Sri Lanka at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Colombo;

  13.     Prof. Dr. Yuddy Chrisnandi, ME, as the RI Ambassador to Ukraine at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Kiev;

  14.     Ir. Arifin Tasrif, as the RI Ambassador to Japan at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Tokyo;

15.     Drs. Andy Rachmianto, M. Phil, as the RI Ambassador to Jordan at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Amman;

  16.     Dra. R. A. Esti Andayani, as the RI Ambassador to Italy at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Rome;

17.   The Indonesian National Police Commissioner General (Retired) Sjahroedin Zainal Pagaralam, SH, as the RI Ambassador to Croatia at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Zagreb.
